La Serie MC Quintet está plenamente alineada con el compromiso incesante de Ortofon de ofrecer la reproducción más precisa y fiel posible, sin añadir coloración:

  • Se usa un material termoplástico especial de ABS (Acrilonitrilo/Butadieno/Estireno) para fabricar el cuerpo. Este material ligero y resistente a impactos es muy adecuado para el moldeo por inyección y proporciona una superficie duradera y resistente a los arañazos.

  • Se emplean imanes de neodimio para lograr una salida óptima.

  • La baja impedancia interna hace que la cápsula sea menos sensible a la carga, lo que asegura compatibilidad con una amplia gama de preamplificadores y transformadores.

MC Quintet Bronze ofrece todavía más detalles y resolución, manteniendo un equilibrio que respeta cada elemento sonoro.

El montaje superior de las cápsulas Quintet es fácil y seguro utilizando los tornillos suministrados. El marco de aluminio tiene orificios roscados para el montaje y se ajusta fácilmente con los tornillos de 5 mm o 7 mm dependiendo del grosor del headshell.

… The Quintet Bronze presented harmonic textures naturally without drawing attention to itself. But while it definitely creates a first-row presentation of the music, its gentle demeanor places it in the laidback variety of moving coil cartridges. It has more energy and transparency than moving magnet carts I‘ve used, but its big, round, warm, sonic portrayal of events is more buttery and compliant than breath-taking and bold …

…At its asking price, the Ortofon Quintet Bronze is reasonably priced, and it's certainly capable of expressing a wide frequency range performance with a large soundstage, natural textures, and spot-on tonality. While the Bronze was in my system I wanted for nothing more, save a better grip on low end fundamentals. The Bronze was never soft and fuzzy, but it tends to roll off upper treble, denying the fine detail that the less expensive Denon, and other moving coil carts, easily convey. If you have a solid state based system, the Ortofon Quintet Bronze cartridge may be the full bodied compliment you've been looking for.“

After setting up old record player,
